"To blither"
I was attracted by this verb in the comment that came to an entry below
"What, pray, are consumer-facing services and professional silos ?
The man is a blithering idiot."

Consumer-facing services are what is required when one is met in the street by Councillor or Officer Blogs and has to paste a polite smile upon one's visage. Being used to meeting irritated members of the public, the important people have a machine to do it for them.
Professional silos are where each might wish to consign the other.
