Somerset to close 4 libraries

I can't tell from my source which of the two possible councils this is. Can anyone tell? it's not Rob Froude is it?

The 4 libraries are in North Somerset; here is an extract from the Bristol Evening Post for 22nd September "Selling the Playhouse ( at Weston-super-Mare) would save £275,000 per year and closing libraries in Banwell, Congresbury, Pill and Worle would save £250,000 per year.

Library users would then be encouraged to use The Campus library in Locking Castle instead" which would doubtless be totally inconvenient for most users.

Closures might "save" £250K a year, but how much will we lose? I was at a meeting at a branch library this morning. It is at the heart of the community, being well used by young (for "Tots Time") and old (on the computers, borrowing books and having a chat).
In the early 1960s Dr Beeching initiated the closure of many branch line railways, not realising the contribution they made to the overall network.
Once something is lost, it's hard to retrieve it.

Regards,
Peter K.
