Family history in Cumbria

I confess that Carlisle public library is one of my favourites.

Here is a new service on offer in Cumbria

Ancestry Library Edition is now available at many libraries throughout the UK. Cumbria is the only one I've heard of that is charging for this service.
Here is Essex we were one of the early subscribers and have subsequently joined in a consortium of purchasers in the East of England to achieve even better value.
