Keighley
Good to see news of the restoration of the library in Keighley-- was it really the first Carnegie library?
But what about the book collections?

The first Carnegie Library in the world was opened in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland on August 29th 1883. Dunfermline is the birthplace of Andrew Carnegie and the house he was born in is open to the public. Andrew Carnegie went to America and made his fortune there but he never forgot his hometown. Dunfermline also has Carnegie Leisure Centre which was opened in 1905, Carnegie Hall (a theatre) and Pittencrieff Park which he bought for the people of the town.
