Love Libraries: A wine list
Libraries in crisis; book collections in ruin, buildings falling apart.
Now we have "The Love Libraries Wine List"
Will somebody please take all these people and drop them at the North Pole.

I thought you were kidding. But it's true: http://www.lovelibraries.co.uk/news_story.php?s=8
Weird and weirder. I'm speechless.

Ye Gods, the situation is rapidly developing into a farce.
Disgusted of Bishop's Stortford.

Tim, on a brighter note. I happened to drive past my library this pm. Amidst the building chaos, scaffoding, men in hard hats, cranes,traffic jams;
a magnificent sign stretched the whole length on the building. I did a double take..OPEN AS USUAL (though not under new management) was displayed for all to see.
Take heart...
There are people who care about promoting their libraries.
